Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Production Planner to join a growing manufacturing organization. You will develop and maintain production schedules to ensure on-time delivery, balance capacity, and optimize inventory using SAP.

The role requires strong data analysis, SAP expertise, and collaboration with Purchasing, Operations, Engineering, and Customer Service to align plans with business objectives. Excellent organizational and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of production planning experience in manufacturing.
• Hands-on SAP for production planning, inventory management, and scheduling.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, MRP, forecasting, and inventory control.
• Proficiency with Excel and data analysis tools.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Experience with capacity planning, demand forecasting, and continuous improvement is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules based on demand, inventory requirements, and capacity.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Operations, Engineering, and Customer Service to align plans with objectives.
• Utilize SAP to manage production orders, material planning, inventory transactions, and scheduling.
• Monitor progress and adjust schedules to address changes in priorities, shortages, or demand.
• Analyze production data and KPIs to identify process improvements and efficiency gains.
• Coordinate with inventory and warehouse teams for material availability.
• Support S&OP activities with production forecasts and capacity analysis.
• Balance labor utilization, machine capacity, and output with leadership.
• Maintain accurate planning records and system data.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity and customer satisfaction.
