Job summary

Talentify in Denton, TX is seeking a Production Planner to establish and maintain the manufacturing production schedule and finish goods inventory. You will coordinate with materials, procurement, engineering, and leadership to balance supply with demand and meet customer service goals.

Ideal candidates have 3–5+ years in production planning within manufacturing, strong ERP experience (SAP/S4HANA, JDE) and proficiency in MS Office; CPIM certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 3–5+ years production planning/scheduling experience in manufacturing.
• Strong ERP experience (SAP/S4/HANA, JDE) and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain the manufacturing production plan and create manufacturing orders per plan.
• Optimize production schedules in accordance to customer demand and available capacity.
• Accountable for downstream replenishment and timely release of manufacturing orders.
• Identify and address short-term supply constraints within the weekly process; analyze daily supply/demand alerts and address or elevate accordingly.
• Interface with QA and warehouse staff regarding rejected/defective materials and arrange replacements.
• Participate in Supply Plan development and establish planning time fences for aggregate and detail Master Plans.
• Translate the Production Plan into a schedule for producing or acquiring components, materials and services.
• Maintain valid lead time data to guard against over-committing resources and parts.
