Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions seeks a Production Planner to join a growing manufacturing organization. This role develops, coordinates, and maintains production schedules to ensure on-time delivery, optimal inventory levels, and efficient workflow using SAP production planning processes.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years in production planning within manufacturing, strong analytical and Excel skills, and experience collaborating with Purchasing, Operations, Engineering, and Customer

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of production planning experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience using SAP for production planning, inventory management, and scheduling.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules based on demand, inventory, and capacity.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Operations, Engineering, and Customer Service to align plans with business objectives.
• Use SAP to manage production orders, material planning, inventory, and scheduling.
• Monitor production progress and adjust schedules for priorities, shortages, downtime, or changing requirements.
• Analyze production data and KPIs to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
• Coordinate with inventory and warehouse teams to ensure material availability for production.
• Support S&OP activities with forecasts and capacity analysis.
• Balance labor utilization, machine capacity, and production output with leadership.
• Maintain accurate planning records and system data for operational excellence.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity and inventory control.
