Job summary

ZEISS in Michigan (US) seeks a Product Sales Development Manager to drive adoption and revenue for the 3D Optical Product Center. You’ll build credibility with customers, lead cross-functional teams, and shape market messaging through collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Global Product Management.

You will develop growth strategies, oversee funnel development, and help launch new products while ensuring alignment across product lines and regional teams.

• Must have valid US driver's license and willingness to travel 25%–50%.

Responsibilities

• Work with Sales Leadership on the commercial strategy, performance, and growth of the assigned Product Center.
• Establish multi-year Product Center growth plans and priorities.
• Coordinate portfolio strategy, investment priorities, and go-to-market activities across product lines.
• Ensure alignment between Product Sales Managers, Regional Sales, and Marketing teams.
• Provide monthly, quarterly, or as-needed sales forecasts.
• Enable sales and channel partners to effectively sell the product line.
• Support product quoting by defining configurations, pricing, and descriptions.
• Conduct ongoing sales and product training, delivering training materials.
• Support marketing with product messaging and content for launches and opportunities.
• Lead cross-functional readiness and successful product launches.
• Achieve sales targets and margins; support product management with calculations.
• Plan demo inventory and resources for assigned products.
• Monitor competitor and market developments.
• Visit key customers and distributors; support segment strategies as needed.
