Job summary

Sphera is seeking a Product Owner to drive the evolution of the Chemical Management platform. You will bridge Product Management, Regulatory, Professional Services, and Development to translate customer and business needs into clear priorities and actionable requirements.

In this role, you will own the CM product backlog, gather and document requirements, create user stories, and work with engineering on design and architecture discussions to deliver customer value and ongoing platform

Qualifications

• Experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Business Analyst in a B2B software environment.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and software architecture concepts.
• Ability to translate complex business needs into actionable product requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the Chemical Management product backlog.
• Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.
• Create user stories, product specifications, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Regulatory, Professional Services, and Development teams to define priorities.
• Partner with engineering teams on solution design, feasibility assessments, and architectural discussions.
• Review and validate delivered functionality, providing acceptance feedback.
• Support product roadmap planning and continuous product improvements.
• Contribute to strategic modernization and product re-architecture initiatives.
