Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Senior Staff Strategic Product Operations Manager to architect the internal operational ecosystem within Engineering. This role leads the creation of an Operational Association and designs high-fidelity frameworks to keep engineering agile while aligning product investments with the company’s long-term commercial strategy.

You will synthesize data signals, advise executives, and drive PDLC transformations to scale the platform globally.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and scaling operational frameworks or internal software systems in a high-growth SaaS/enterprise tech environment.
• Strong ability to synthesize complex data into actionable business strategy for executives.
• Expert-level data navigation using SQL-based tools and BI platforms.

Responsibilities

• Act as the connective tissue between Support, Product, Engineering, and Analytics to drive operational alignment, product readiness, and continuous improvement across support workflows.
• Lead strategic initiatives to scale global Support operations, including coverage models, KPI frameworks, and process enhancements.
• Translate operational pain points into product and tooling requirements; partner with internal tools, engineering, and analytics to drive automation and efficiency.
• Build and maintain dashboards measuring support effectiveness, surface product-driven case trends, and track customer experience across channels.
• Support planning cycles including headcount, capacity modeling, and budget alignment with Finance and Workforce Management.
• Influence senior stakeholders by turning insights into clear, data-driven narratives for product and business decisions.
