Job summary

ADS, Inc. in Virginia Beach, VA is hiring a Procurement Process Specialist to drive procurement activities and vendor relations. You will manage purchasing for ADS from assigned vendors, handle POs up to $1,000,000, and ensure timely delivery through tracking and communication with Sales.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Procurement and/or Customer Service experience in a non-call center environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• 1-year commitment to procurement role; internal transfers require approval.

Responsibilities

• Purchasing all items for ADS from assigned vendors and work with preferred vendors.
• Decide on approving and placing purchase orders up to $1,000,000.
• Manage supplier requirements, minimums, terms and conditions.
• Review POs to guard against duplication and pricing errors.
• Typically manage 1000-3000 PO lines at any given time.
• Develop relationships with vendors to ensure service and quality.
• Coordinate tracking, promise dates, and delivery timelines; advise Sales on delays.
• Obtain and communicate tracking details on rush orders and cancellations as needed.
• Act as liaison between suppliers and Accounts Payables to resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Use CRM (Salesforce) to provide transparency of communications with POs/vendors.
