Job summary

KSB US in Richmond, VA is seeking a Procurement Specialist to manage purchasing activities, supplier relations, and order tracking in a fast-paced setting. Qualifications

• High School diploma required; college/technical degree preferred.
• Minimum two years of relevant experience.
• Strong purchasing, sourcing and fulfillment management skills.
• Proficient with ERP systems and MS Office; detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly in adherence to purchase request parameters.
• Place and process purchase orders timely and accurately as guidelines.
• Process information to facilitate delivery within targeted parameters.
• Track orders and communicate delivery timing to requisitioners per SLAs.
• Maintain effective internal customer interface with accurate information conveyance.
• Coordinate with KSB factories and external vendors for materials/services within timelines.
• Work to optimize stock levels to meet internal/external needs.
• Assist in maintenance of Item Master records and ERP implementation/operation.
• Maintain complete procurement and order processing files for information access.
• Assist in measuring supplier performance.
• Provide backup for other supply chain specialists and department resources.
• Other duties as assigned.
