Job summary

ADP is seeking a Procurement Specialist to source, purchase, and expedite materials and subcontracted work for active and upcoming capital projects. You will partner with project teams across engineering, manufacturing, and shipping to clarify requirements and ensure timely delivery while protecting cost and schedule.

This hands-on role emphasizes disciplined purchasing, supplier management, and risk escalation.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred in a related field or equivalent experience in purchasing/procurement.
Experience with capital projects and construction/procurement is a plus.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or similar ERP systems preferred.

Responsibilities

Execute project procurement: source, quote, negotiate, purchase, and expedite materials and subcontracted work.
Coordinate with project teams to clarify requirements and delivery needs.
Manage RFQs, supplier quotes, terms, and award decisions.
Create and maintain accurate purchase orders in the ERP system.
Expedite orders and communicate risks with options and recommended actions.
Coordinate vendor setup, compliance, and insurance requirements.
Coordinate freight and logistics to optimize cost and schedule.
Identify cost savings and supplier performance opportunities.
Resolve invoice discrepancies and P2P issues.
Suggest process improvements to strengthen procurement reliability.
