Job summary

Voyager Technologies is hiring for a procurement specialist to place and manage POs and subcontracts across direct and indirect programs. You will monitor PO progress, maintain ERP/MRP data accuracy, and negotiate favorable terms with suppliers.

The role requires strong communication, analytical thinking, and detail-oriented execution in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. Domestic travel up to 10% may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, engineering, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in supply chain OR 9+ years of experience in purchasing field in lieu of a degree.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to persuade and present complex ideas.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with procurement management and ERP systems.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Place and manage purchase orders and subcontracts for direct and indirect company acquisitions.
• Monitor and expedite open purchase orders per project requirements.
• Manage relevant PO data in the MRP system to ensure accuracy.
• Conduct negotiations to secure favorable terms, price, and schedule.
• Prioritize and execute program requirements to meet needs.
• Communicate supplier performance risks to internal customers.
• Resolve discrepancies related to purchasing, delivery, invoicing, and payments.
