Job summary

EvenUp is seeking a Lead Procurement Manager to drive end-to-end purchasing for SaaS, cloud infrastructure, and IT services. You will balance cost optimization with performance, partnering with FP&A and IT to scale procurement for our fast-growing tech platform.

You will own strategy, vendor management, RFPs, contract negotiations, and spend governance to enable high-velocity growth while ensuring reliable infrastructure and strong security standards.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or vendor management within high‑growth technology or vertical SaaS environments.
• 2+ years of cross‑functional project lead experience.
• Proven track record of refining and scaling procurement processes in a fast‑paced tech environment.
• Strong negotiation skills with experience structuring high‑dollar SaaS and cloud infra agreements.
• Strong financial literacy and experience partnering with Finance on budgets and usage modeling.

Responsibilities

• Procurement Function Strategy - Maintain, improve, and enforce clear purchasing workflows, and operational spending guardrails.
• Category Management - Own high-value enterprise technology agreements across SaaS, cloud infrastructure, and corporate IT services, optimizing total cost of ownership.
• Strategic Sourcing & RFPs - Spearhead vendor selections and RFP processes, performing detailed total-cost analysis, security evaluation, and benchmarking.
• Contract Negotiation & Sourcing - Lead commercial negotiations for key SaaS and IT contracts in alignment with internal stakeholder priorities.
• Spend Management & Cost Optimization - Partner with FP&A, IT, and EPD leadership to conduct spend audits, reduce software overlap, optimize licenses.
• Metrics & Reporting - Track KPIs and share insights with leadership.
• Process & Tooling Standardization - Evaluate and maintain procurement systems to increase visibility.
• Cross‑Functional Alignment - Ensure purchasing activities comply with policy, data protection, and audit requirements.
