Job summary

LATICRETE International is seeking a diligent Buyer/Procurement professional in the New York area to manage sourcing, stocking, and supplier relations. You will translate demand signals into timely purchasing actions, maintain inventory levels, and ensure cost, quality, and delivery objectives are met across the supply chain.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in procurement or inventory roles, strong MRP knowledge, and excellent negotiation and communication skills to support production schedules

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or Finance or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years’ experience in procurement, inventory management, or supply chain roles.
• Strong understanding of MRP systems and data parameters.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
• Proficiency in inventory control techniques and inventory management software.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Inventory Management: implement stocking models and maintain optimal levels.
• Procurement: execute MRP actions, create/manage purchase orders, track orders and logistics.
• Supplier Relationship Management: build strong supplier relationships and monitor performance.
• Collaboration: coordinate with Demand Planning, Operations, Finance for aligned purchasing.
