LATICRETE International in Utica, NY is seeking a Buyer to manage procurement, inventory, and supplier performance. This role supports demand planning, production schedules, and cash flow by translating demand signals into timely purchasing actions.

The ideal candidate has an Associate degree and at least three years in procurement or supply chain, with strong MRP knowledge, data analysis, and negotiation skills. You will collaborate across functions to ensure cost, quality, and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years in procurement, inventory management, or supply chain roles.
• Strong understanding of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
• Proficiency in inventory control techniques and software.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work across cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Inventory Management: stock planning, lead times, and safety stock.
• Procurement: create/manage purchase orders, align with cost/quality/delivery targets.
• Supplier Relationship Management: maintain reliability and monitor performance.
• Collaboration: align purchasing with demand planning, operations, and finance.
