Job summary

LATICRETE International is a global company specializing in high-performance tile and stone installation systems. The Buyer will procure goods and services, manage inventory, and collaborate with planning, operations, and finance to meet cost, quality, and delivery objectives.

The role emphasizes stocking strategies, supplier negotiations, and ethical sourcing, with opportunities to influence supply chain efficiency and cost management across multiple regions.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in business, supply chain, or finance.
• 3+ years in procurement, inventory management, or supply chain roles.
• Strong understanding of MRP systems and data parameters.
• Excellent analytical and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in inventory control techniques and software.
• Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Implement stocking models considering demand forecasts, lead times, logistics, and supplier capabilities.
• Create and manage purchase orders; track orders and inbound logistics to meet need dates.
• Resolve supplier issues (price, delivery, discrepancies) and escalate as needed.
• Collaborate with Demand Planning, Operations, Warehousing/Logistics, and Finance.
• Support supplier performance tracking and promote ethical sourcing and sustainability.
