Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned Business Process Improvement professional in New York to lead assessment, redesign, and optimization of core processes. You will drive data-led analyses, map processes, and coordinate change management to ensure scalable, efficient operations.

Responsibilities include collaboration with stakeholders, KPI establishment, training, and ongoing performance tracking. Prior experience in insurance or related sectors is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• Minimum 10 years of Business Process Improvement experience.
• Experience in Insurance industry preferred.
• Lean, Six Sigma, or Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.
• Proficiency in process mapping, data analysis, and project management.
• Ability to perform complex process analysis, design, and simulation.
• Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of existing business processes and their interdependencies with policies and procedures.
• Develop new processes to meet business objectives.
• Use data-driven analysis to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for enhancement.
• Align new processes with existing ones and ensure scalability.
• Test process designs to calibrate accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop actionable improvement plans.
• Leverage systems to support business objectives.
• Establish KPIs to measure process effectiveness.
• Track and report on progress.
• Address resistance to change and coordinate change management, including training.
• Facilitate adoption of new processes across the organization.
• May supervise staff and participate in talent decisions for direct reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
