Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a diligent Business Analyst to support, analyze, and enhance essential business processes. You will plan, execute, monitor, and complete finance-driven strategic initiatives while coordinating with initiative leads, sponsors, leadership, and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' experience as a business analyst.
• Experience in business analysis, process improvement, project management, performance management, or organizational transformation.
• Experience in a highly regulated environment.
• Prefers state government, healthcare, finance, regulatory, or service-related business.

Responsibilities

• Support, analyze, and improve business processes.
• Plan, execute, monitor, and complete finance-related strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate with initiative leads, sponsors, leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Maintain alignment on scope, timelines, deliverables, performance measures, and desired outcomes.
• Evaluate current processes and standard operating procedures.
• Conduct gap, root cause, feasibility, and risk analyses.
• Recommend practical improvements.
• Develop project plans, milestones, dashboards, reports, process maps, and implementation documentation.
• Track KPIs, risks, issues, and progress.
• Support change readiness and adoption.
• Facilitate meetings and workshops.
• Identify and help resolve barriers.
• Communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ensure deliverables comply with applicable federal, state, agency, and other requirements.
