Job summary

Daikin Applied is seeking a Strategic Pricing Manager to partner with key stakeholders across the organization. You will develop and execute pricing strategies to drive profitable growth, improve price realization, and maintain market competitiveness.

This role collaborates with Sales, Product Management, Finance, and Operations to evaluate pricing opportunities and support new product introductions. The position involves governance, analytics, and reporting initiatives to strengthen pricing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, marketing, or equivalent.
• 4–6+ years in pricing, commercial strategy, revenue management, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of pricing strategies, governance, and profitability improvement.
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills for modeling and reporting.
• Ability to influence across cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify pricing opportunities through market and financial analysis and develop pricing strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Lead pricing analyses for price adjustments and new product launches, assessing cost impact and viability.
• Analyze price performance, discounts, profitability, and customer economics to derive actionable insights.
• Develop pricing models, business cases, and financial analyses for strategic initiatives.
• Present pricing results and recommendations to senior leadership in reviews.
• Provide guidance for major opportunities, national accounts, and PARs; review PARs for governance alignment.
• Improve pricing processes, governance, analytics, data integrity, and commercial effectiveness.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Finance, and Operations to balance value and competitiveness.
