Job summary

Daikin Applied is seeking a Strategic Pricing Manager to partner with Sales, Product Management, Finance, and Operations, driving pricing initiatives and governance to support profitable growth. The role emphasizes pricing analytics, market trends, and strategic recommendations for large opportunities and new product launches.

Hybrid role based in Plymouth, MN with a focus on governance, analytics, and senior-leadership communications.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or equivalent experience.
4–6+ years in pricing, commercial strategy, revenue management, or related field.
Strong knowledge of pricing strategies and governance to drive growth and margin.
Experience leveraging market dynamics and value-based pricing for recommendations.
Proficiency in pricing governance, approvals, quotes, negotiations, and deal economics.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Advanced analytical and quantitative skills for large datasets and decision support.

Responsibilities

Identify pricing opportunities through market and financial analysis and develop pricing strategies.
Lead pricing analyses for price adjustments and new product launches with cost impact assessments.
Analyze price performance, discounts, profitability, and customer economics to inform actions.
Develop and maintain pricing models, business cases, and financial analyses for strategic initiatives.
Present pricing performance and recommendations to senior leadership in reviews.
Provide strategic pricing guidance for major opportunities, national accounts, and PARs.
