Job summary

DLA Piper in New York is seeking a Pricing Analyst to support revenue generation by analyzing historical data and advising on profitable rate structures. You will collaborate with Pricing Leadership, Sr.

Analysts, Business Development, Marketing, Legal Project Management, Billing Operations, and Staff Leadership. The role involves developing rate proposals for RFPs, identifying renewal opportunities, building pricing models, and ensuring accurate billing setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or similar field.
• 3 years’ directly related experience, preferably in financial analysis, billing, accounting or similar type work.
• Strong problem solving, planning and organizational skills.
• Experience with MS Word & Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTable).

Responsibilities

• Develop rate proposals, fee estimates and pricing options in response to client RFPs and ad-hoc requests.
• Identify rate renewal opportunities, develop proposals, and communicate them by deadlines.
• Contribute to financial models assessing profitability of pricing proposals.
• Perform historical analytics to identify risks and drivers of fee magnitude.
• Ensure billing system setup and documentation of pricing arrangements.
• Communicate progress, wins, and risks to Pricing/Firm Leadership.
• Work on special projects supporting strategic initiatives.
• Perform other duties as required.
