HDR, Inc. seeks a Power Generation Project Manager to lead multi-discipline teams delivering utility-scale projects across traditional and renewable technologies.

You will manage scope, schedule, budget, and client communications while driving business development efforts in a dynamic energy market. The role emphasizes leadership, rigorous project controls, and collaboration with engineers, designers, and client teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; professional experience may supplement education.
• 10+ years of utility-scale power project management experience preferred.
• Proven business development and strategic planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project team, manage schedule and budget, coordinate engineering disciplines, monitor status and provide design support.
• Provide daily leadership to the project team and oversee project activities.
• Develop the project work plan and execution strategy.
• Achieve schedule, quality, and profitability goals; manage scope changes.
• Maintain client relations and coordinate communications to align deliverables with client expectations.
• Perform marketing, business development and consulting with existing and new clients.
• Act as proposal manager; review contracts and assess risks; define scope of work.
• Implement quality controls and lead design reviews and QA procedures.
• Negotiate approvals and administer contract changes; mentor staff on PM and consulting issues.
• Report progress to leadership and other stakeholders; perform other duties as needed.
