Job summary

California Bank of Commerce is seeking a seasoned relationship-focused lending professional in Walnut Creek to manage a portfolio of loan and deposit relationships. You will underwrite, structure, and recommend loans within policy while growing revenue and maintaining credit quality.

You will mentor Credit Analysts and collaborate with Relationship Managers to expand client relationships and cross-sell a full suite of bank products and services, ensuring outstanding service and adherence to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; five to seven years of commercial lending experience preferred.
• Strong relationship management and business development skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; leadership and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Retain and expand relationships with existing customers.
• Prospect for and close new business with Relationship Managers.
• Grow net revenue year over year as directed by Senior Management.
• Provide training/coaching to Credit Analysts as assigned.
• Underwrite and structure loans within policy and risk framework.
• Coordinate with product specialists to cross-sell bank products.
• Ensure compliance with ethics, BSA/AML, and related policies.
