Job summary

Fresenius Kabi USA seeks a Manager, Corporate Portfolio and M&A to drive growth across the corporate portfolio through strategic projects, including acquisitions and venture opportunities in health tech and biopharma. A visible role interacting with management teams, with potential remote work and regular travel to Lake Zurich, IL.

Visa sponsorship is not available. Salary range: $138,000-150,000, with a 10% annual bonus target.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific/technical/finance field required.
• MBA strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of experience with at least 2 years in Business Development, M&A, Strategy and business analytics.
• 3+ years of experience in healthcare.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and their business impact.
• Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Travel up to 15% (including international).

Responsibilities

• Analyze markets, segments, sectors, companies/assets including startups across Fresenius business areas and identify targets for inorganic growth.
• Lead due diligence, business case development, board approvals and execution; prepare pitch documents for management alignment.
• Manage internal strategic portfolio analysis and recommend new business areas, target evaluations, and scenario modeling.
• Build valuations for target assets using DCF, NPV and precedent analyses; manage projects through all phases.
