Job summary

Fresenius Kabi USA seeks a Manager, Corporate Portfolio and M&A to drive growth of Fresenius’ corporate portfolio through strategic projects and new business development opportunities such as digital health, venture investments and emerging technologies. The position is remote, with regular travel to the Lake Zurich, IL headquarters.

Salary range is $138,000–$150,000 per year and is eligible for an annual bonus target of 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific/technical/finance field required; MBA strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of experience with a minimum of 2 years in Business Development, M&A, Strategy and business analytics functions; 3+ years of experience in healthcare.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and their business impact; excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze markets, segments, sectors, companies/assets including startups to identify inorganic growth targets.
• Lead cross-functional teams through due diligence, business case development, board approvals and execution.
• Prepare pitch documents for management to prioritize inorganic opportunities.
• Build valuations using DCF, NPV and precedent analyses.
• Support strategy discussions and future direction with market insights.
