Job summary

Bread Financial is seeking a Lead Account Manager for Portfolio & ECM to act as the primary liaison with clients, guiding portfolio growth and customer lifecycle marketing in collaboration with senior leadership.

You will influence matrix teams, manage core metrics, and ensure successful execution of marketing initiatives while maintaining strong client relationships. Hybrid work and travel up to 10% are included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, relevant work experience.
• 8-10 years experience in Account Management, Sales, Finance, Product Management, Project Management, Marketing, credit card portfolio management.
• Experience developing strategic marketing plans and executing customer marketing campaigns.
• Experience using marketing data, customer insights, and campaign performance metrics to drive business recommendations.
• Experience working cross-functionally in a highly matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintains productive relationships with brand program owners and leads brand partner meetings.
• Partners with cross-functional teams (Portfolio Analytics, Credit Management, Finance, Marketing, Operations) to achieve portfolio objectives.
• Executes strategy for all existing cardholder marketing and manages timelines/deliverables.
• Monitors and analyzes KPIs; recommends adjustments to portfolio and marketing initiatives.
• Develops annual portfolio KPIs and funding allocation with leadership.
• Executes changes to card program benefits across all marketing channels and uses reporting tools to identify opportunities.
