Job summary

Relation Insurance, Inc. is seeking an Account Manager for Personal Lines in the US Illinois market. You will manage client relationships, advise on coverage and risk, and align programs with clients' long-term goals.

The role requires a P&C license, a strong background in personal lines, and excellent communication. Travel to client sites may be needed; a four-year degree is preferred and bilingualism is a plus.

Qualifications

• Property and Casualty license required and must be maintained; designations a plus.
• High school diploma; four-year degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years account management experience in the insurance industry with a focus on personal lines.
• Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus or a must in some locations.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills are required.
• Proficient in Excel and Word; able to learn new software applications.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the main point of contact for clients, guiding coverage changes and contractual requirements.
• Partners in strategic development of insurance plans tailored to client needs.
• Acts as field underwriter and authorized representative to assess and bind coverage.
• Strategically manages renewal remarketing to improve client retention.
• Prepares client proposals, loss evaluations, and risk analyses with timely quotations.
