Job summary

CBRE seeks a People Business Partner to roll out HR initiatives, policies, and procedures across the organization. You will support onboarding, career ladders, succession planning, and performance management while guiding managers on employee relations and investigations.

You will manage HR functions for a business unit, conduct trainings, and apply HR principles to complex assignments. Travel up to 40% monthly is required, with preference for proximity to major airports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Assist with onboarding, career ladders, succession planning, and performance management initiatives
• Provide employee relations guidance, conflict resolution, and disciplinary action support
• Identify employment-related risks with managers and assist in investigations and grievances
• Manage HR functions including employment, labor relations, compensation for a business unit
• Conduct trainings on performance management, diversity and related topics
• Apply standard HR principles to complex assignments and provide innovative solutions
• Coach others and share knowledge across HR disciplines
• Lead by example and foster CBRE RISE values to build consensus
• Impact customer, operational, and project activities within teams
• Work within broad guidelines and explain difficult information
• Travel up to 40% monthly; preferred in warehouses with up to 50% walking
• Prefer to live near a major airport due to weekly travel
