Job summary

CBRE is seeking a People Business Partner to assist with the rollout and communication of HR initiatives, policies, and procedures. This role is part of the People Strategy and Operations function, responsible for design, execution, and monitoring of HR programs and policies.

The role includes developing onboarding, succession planning, performance management initiatives, providing employee relations guidance, and coaching teams while traveling up to 40% monthly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
• Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
• Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
• Sophisticated math skills for percentages, fractions and related calculations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with onboarding, career ladders, succession planning, and performance management initiatives.
• Provide employee relations guidance, conflict resolution, and disciplinary action support.
• Work with managers to identify employment-related risks and investigate grievances.
• Manage HR functions such as employment, labor relations, compensation for a unit.
• Conduct training on performance management, diversity, and related topics.
• Apply knowledge of standard HR principles to complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
• Coach others and share knowledge across the function.
• Lead by example and promote CBRE RISE values to reach agreement.
• Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within teams.
• Travel to sites up to 40% monthly; preferred close to major airport; up to 50% walking in facilities.
