Job summary

CBRE seeks a People Business Partner to support the rollout and communication of HR initiatives, policies, and procedures across a business unit. You will assist with onboarding, career ladders, succession planning, and performance management, while guiding employee relations and disciplinary actions.

Travel to sites could reach 40% monthly, with large warehouse-fulfillment centers requiring up to 50% walking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; 5–8 years of relevant experience accepted in lieu of degree.
• Ability to analyze multiple sources of information and exercise sound judgment.
• Willingness to adapt and take new perspectives on existing solutions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist with onboarding development, career ladders, succession planning, and performance management initiatives.
• Provide employee relations guidance and assist with disciplinary actions and performance improvement counseling.
• Identify employment-related risks with managers and support investigations and grievances.
• Manage HR functions such as employment, labor relations, and compensation for a business unit.
• Conduct trainings on performance management and diversity; apply standard principles to complex tasks.
