Intuit, Inc. seeks a Lead Tax Processor and Subject Matter Expert to lead critical team initiatives and own the most complex tax escalations. You will govern SOPs, coach team members, and run structured routines to build workforce capacity while ensuring compliance and accuracy across TP1-TP3 operations.

The role emphasizes real-time guidance, cross-functional collaboration, and proactive risk management in payroll tax processing for multi-jurisdictional filings.

Competenze

• 4+ years of payroll tax experience with complex tax defect resolution and multi-state filings.
• Previous experience as lead, senior specialist, or SME with coaching/j mentoring junior staff.
• Expert knowledge of US tax payment and filing regulations across jurisdictions incl. local taxes.
• Advanced ability to author, review, and approve SOPs and technical docs for tax staff.
• Strong ownership of SLAs, red flags, and proactive workflow improvement.
• Experience handling highly sensitive escalations with minimal guidance.
• Experience in contact center or back-office operations at high volume.
• Comfort using AI tools to improve team workflows.

Mansioni

• Serve as the primary real-time technical expert on complex tax issues across TP1-TP3 staff.
• Own authoring, review, and approval of SOPs and KB articles.
• Conduct quarterly coaching sessions to close skill gaps using SBIC model.
• Lead team huddles, QA sessions, and stand-ups when needed.
• Oversee WIP, backlog, and aging reports; advise staffing changes.
• Resolve severe payroll tax notices across state and federal levels.
• Authorize complex amended returns with audit trails and ledger reconciliation.
• Identify risks and trends; communicate with leadership with data-driven options.
• Represent team in cross-functional meetings and provide compliant risk alternatives.
