Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business-related fields; payroll experience required.
• Experience in nonprofit accounting is preferred but not required.
• Strong computer and database management skills are essential.
• Experience with ADP, Paylocity or similar payroll software; Sage Intacct desirable.
• Experience with Docuware and bill.com is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implements and maintains payroll processing systems for timely, accurate payroll transactions.
• Ensures accurate processing of new hires, terminations, and changes.
• Maintains payroll records and reports; ensures compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Collaborates with HR to reflect deductions in final payroll submission.
• Reconciles payroll data and prepares W-2s; supports audit processes.
