Job summary

Accurate Background, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager of Global Payroll in Irvine, CA to lead end-to-end international payroll operations. You will drive compliance, efficiency, and cross-functional collaboration with Finance, HR, Legal, and IT.

The role requires 10+ years in payroll, including 5+ years in leadership across multiple countries, with strong experience in Workday Payroll and related modules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; Master’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years in payroll with at least 5 years in a global leadership role.
• Extensive knowledge of international payroll practices, regulations, and tax laws.
• Experience with Workday Payroll, Absence, and Timekeeping SKUs.
• Knowledge of SOX controls, GDPR, and audit processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for all international locations in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a geographically dispersed payroll team and set performance goals.
• Ensure payroll processes adhere to country-specific labor laws and tax requirements; monitor regulatory changes.
• Identify and implement best practices to improve payroll accuracy, efficiency, and automation.
• Manage relationships with third-party payroll providers, technology vendors, and consultants.
