InterDigital, Inc. is seeking a Payroll Manager to lead our Finance payroll team from Conshohocken, PA. You will oversee global payroll for ~500 employees across 7 countries and coordinate with HR, IS and GL to ensure accurate, timely processing.

The role demands 8–10 years of payroll experience, including international work, and a proven track record of team leadership, compliance, and process improvement. On-site presence is required three days weekly in Conshohocken.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years payroll experience, incl international/global payroll and team leadership.
• Experience with ADP/Workforce Now and Workday HCM.
• Multi-state payroll experience.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas).
• Strong communication and confidentiality.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Manage the global payroll team responsible for payroll processing for ~500 employees across 7 countries.
• Provide direction to the payroll organization to drive process efficiencies.
• Develop, train and coach direct reports within the payroll team.
• Partner with HR, IS and GL Accounting to ensure payroll accuracy and automation.
• Ensure earnings, deductions, taxes and benefits are set up correctly and funded timely.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax requirements.
• Work with payroll providers or tax authorities on notices to keep accounts in good standing.
• Ensure SOX-compliant payroll processes and respond to audits.
• Oversee year-end tax forms distribution and quarterly tax record reviews.
• Audit payroll for accuracy and identify process improvements.
• Manage vendor relationships with ADP and global payroll partners.
