Qualifications

• Experience driving commercial adoption within robotics, AI, ML or other technical R&D environments.
• Strong technical understanding of robotics and AI, with the ability to engage credibly with researchers and engineers.
• Knowledge of ROS 2, Linux, Python, perception, manipulation, locomotion, robot learning, teleoperation, simulation and robotics data collection.
• Comfortable working hands-on with physical robotic systems and troubleshooting basic technical issues.
• Strong presentation, communication and relationship-building skills.
• Commercially driven and comfortable with prospecting, qualification, negotiation and closing.
• Willingness to travel frequently across the US.
• Engineering or research background in robotics, AI, ML, computer vision, controls or autonomous systems.
• Existing relationships within university robotics/AI labs or corporate R&D.
• Experience selling robotics hardware, AI infrastructure, simulation, data platforms or developer tools.
• Open-source contributions, publications, technical presentations or involvement in the robotics/AI community.
• Experience in an early-stage technology environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and own a US territory across university labs, corporate R&D and physical-AI organisations.
• Develop relationships with researchers, engineers, lab directors and technical decision-makers.
• Understand customer research objectives, robotics/ML infrastructure, data requirements and development workflows.
• Translate technical requirements into the right robot hardware, software, data and support solution.
• Lead technical demonstrations, workshops and customer evaluations, including hands‑on robot setup and operation.
• Manage opportunities through procurement, deployment and expansion.
• Feed customer requirements and market insight back into product, engineering and manufacturing teams.
• Represent the organisation at relevant robotics, AI and research events.
