Job summary

Anthropic is seeking a business development lead to own the BD partnership footprint with a small number of world-leading technology companies. You will oversee multi-faceted relationships spanning consumer products, devices, software, cloud, and enterprise distribution, and turn strategic judgment into signed deals.

The role focuses on product partnerships, co-developing opportunities, and structuring commercial and go-to-market terms that ensure durable partnerships.

Qualifications

• Direct experience owning a large, multi-business partner relationship.
• Experience leading complex negotiations with senior executives and multi-year terms.
• Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional execution (Product, Engineering, Legal, Finance).
• Track record structuring and closing product partnerships embedded in partner products.
• Ability to operate as primary executive counterpart in high-stakes deals.

Responsibilities

• Manage a small number of large, multi-faceted partner relationships end to end.
• Lead product partnerships: embed Claude in partner products and co-develop features.
• Run multiple deal streams in parallel across product, distribution and go-to-market.
• Negotiate complex, first-of-kind agreements with multi-year commitments.
• Act as executive counterpart and steer Anthropic’s leadership through engagements.
• Exercise judgment on commercial upside vs strategic considerations.
• Drive cross-functional execution across life of a partnership.
