Job summary

Kiva seeks a Manager, Strategic Partnerships to cultivate individual donors, engage philanthropic advisors, and translate impact into compelling donor communications. You will manage a portfolio of mid-level donors, collaborate across Finance, Marketing, Product, and impact teams, and drive donor events and stewardship.

The role emphasizes strong writing, independent project management, and alignment with Kiva’s mission to expand financial access.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of nonprofit fundraising experience.
• Experience creating donor engagement strategies and moving prospects toward giving.
• Familiarity with donor-advised funds and major gifts is a plus.
• Strong written communication and ability to translate impact data into proposals and reports.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop donor engagement and stewardship plans for mid-level and major gifts.
• Engage donor-advised funds, philanthropic advisors, and gatekeepers; provide resources to relationship managers.
• Collaborate with Marketing/Communications to craft donor messaging and materials.
