Job summary

Anthropic Limited is seeking a Partnership Manager for its AI for Science program. You will grow and manage partnerships with labs worldwide to deploy Claude in life sciences, chemistry, and materials science.

You will build relationships, coordinate across Applied AI and GTM teams, and scale programs with scientists and startups. You will collaborate with academic labs and early-stage companies, shaping deployment plans and communities of practice.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in or around life sciences research.
• Experience building communities of practice where scientists converge on new tech.
• Growing network in universities, labs, and life sciences tools companies.
• Technical fluency to discuss AI concepts with technical teams.
• Analytical mindset with data-driven strategy and impact measurement.
• Entrepreneurial mindset: build programs from scratch and scale them.
• Genuine drive to maximize impact for underserved communities.
• High agency and comfort with ambiguity; able to operate while building.
• Strong prioritization skills and ability to manage many partnerships.
• Willingness to travel for occasional partner visits and conferences.

Responsibilities

• Execute the AI for Science API credit program and manage day-to-day partnerships.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new partners via API calls and outreach.
• Serve as primary relationship owner for AI for Science with cross-functional teams.
• Compile reports and learnings to inform research and GTM priorities.
• Manage timelines, resources, and regular reporting for the program.
• Work with partners to translate needs into deployment plans.
• Prototype and test with partners to learn and unblock progress.
• Contribute to a research agenda on AI's impact in labs.
• Identify opportunities for public goods, datasets, and open tools.
• Represent Anthropic at global scientific events and conferences.
• Help shape processes and culture as Life Science work scales.
