Job summary
OpenAI is seeking a Life Sciences Partnerships Lead to shape and execute our global life sciences partnership strategy. You will lead high-impact research, product, and platform partnerships across the life sciences ecosystem and work with cross-functional teams to turn opportunities into actionable plans.

Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, product partnerships, business development, or general management across life sciences and technology.
- Experience leading complex partnerships from strategy through execution and measurable impact.
- Ability to translate scientific workflows and market dynamics into product and program recommendations.
Responsibilities
- Lead full-lifecycle strategic partnerships from strategy and executive alignment to scoping, negotiation, execution, and ongoing reviews.
- Identify and prioritize opportunities across pharma, biotech, AI-native platforms, and research institutions.
- Collaborate with Research, Product, and Engineering to align partner needs with product roadmaps and programs.
- Coordinate with Legal, Finance, Safety, and cross-functional teams to structure partnerships with appropriate data, governance, and commercial models.
- Build relationships with senior executives and scientific leaders to enable ecosystem adoption and impact.
- Bring structure to ambiguous opportunities and clearly communicate tradeoffs to senior leaders.
