Job summary

America's Health Insurance Plans (AHIP) is seeking a Director of Sales & Strategic Partnerships to drive growth for its Insurance Education portfolio. The role focuses on expanding AHIP's market presence among health insurance carriers, Medicare Advantage organizations, and healthcare solution providers.

You will lead business development, cultivate executive-level relationships, and manage strategic accounts to meet revenue targets. Travel is expected for conferences and client meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; seven or more years of progressive business development or enterprise sales experience.
• Experience working with health insurance carriers, Medicare Advantage organizations, and healthcare solution providers.
• Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills; able to build executive-level relationships.
• Willingness to travel domestically for customer meetings, conferences, and industry events.
• Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and online education platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue growth and new business opportunities.
• Manage strategic accounts and expand existing relationships to increase revenue and retention.
• Represent AHIP at conferences, trade shows, and industry forums to promote Insurance Education offerings.
• Lead negotiations related to contracts, pricing, renewals, sponsorships, and partnerships.
• Collaborate with marketing and product teams to support campaigns and customer engagement.
