Job summary

AHIP, the nation’s leading health insurance advocacy organization, seeks a Director, Sales & Strategic Partnerships to drive growth for its Insurance Education portfolio. You will develop strategic relationships with health insurers, Medicare Advantage organizations, and providers, and lead high-level, consultative sales discussions.

This role emphasizes expanding adoption of AHIP’s online education solutions, managing executive relationships, negotiating contracts, and guiding renewals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, Communications, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive business development, enterprise sales, strategic account management, or strategic partnership experience.
• Experience with health insurance carriers, Medicare Advantage organizations, and healthcare solution providers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue goals and expand AHIP’s Insurance Education offerings.
• Build executive relationships with prospective and existing customers to grow revenue.
• Conduct consultative meetings, presentations, and negotiations for contracts and renewals.
• Manage strategic accounts and identify opportunities for retention and upsell.
• Represent AHIP at conferences, trade shows, and industry forums to promote Insurance Education solutions.
