Job summary

Paychex is hiring a Business Development/Partnerships professional in Tempe, AZ to identify and secure new partnerships that meet client needs. You will report to the Senior Manager of Partner Operations and work across product, sales, and strategy to uncover opportunities and shape our partner program.

The role requires strong negotiation, market understanding, and the ability to drive programs like webinars and LinkedIn campaigns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or Marketing preferred.
• 5 years of experience in BDR, Sales, or customer service with at least 1 year in sales or business development, preferably in SaaS or technology.
• 2 years of experience in contract negotiation.
• Assessment is required.
• CRM/PRM experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and secure new partnerships aligned with customer needs by developing and executing a structured prospecting plan.
• Manage complex contract negotiations with legal counsel to minimize cycle time and transition prospects to partners quickly.
• Collaborate with business partners to implement strategies penetrating target partnerships and keep stakeholders updated on progress.
• Gain understanding of the company’s market to provide consistent information on channels and partnerships.
• Maintain deep knowledge of Paycor’s HCM solutions, existing partnership ecosystem, and industry trends to position the program.
• Drive awareness and generate new partnership leads via webinars, LinkedIn campaigns, and targeted content.
• Track all partnership activities in PRM and CRM tools and maintain a healthy pipeline to meet goals.
