Job summary

MCC in Texas region is seeking a Business Development Manager to identify opportunities and guide quoting, proofing and sampling for packaging projects while communicating MCC’s value proposition.

You will partner with the Sales Director to grow MCC’s market share by developing a pull strategy and building relationships with end users and influencers. Expect up to 50% travel and collaboration with R&D for customer-driven designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required with 5–10 years of relevant business/industry experience.
• Sales support and business development experience required.
• Printing or packaging experience is required.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.
• Ability to build relationships at all levels and influence others.
• 50% travel to customers, offices and plants.
• Experience with CRM – Salesforce.com a plus.

Responsibilities

• Aggressively lead identifying opportunities in packaging market.
• Collaborate with R&D/Technology to ensure designs meet customer needs.
• Maintain supplier relationships and assist with sales funnel planning.
• Work with the MCC estimating team to ensure competitive pricing.
• Lead a culture of integrity and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure safety and responsible use of company assets.
