Job summary

MCC, a packaging solutions leader, seeks a Business Development Manager on the West Coast to drive growth with end-user and influencer relationships. You will guide quoting, proofing and sampling, communicating MCC’s value proposition across packaging solutions.

You are a self-starter with 5–10 years of packaging or printing experience, capable of strategic planning, presentation creation, and cross-functional collaboration to win new business while traveling up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 5–10 years of relevant business/industry experience.
• Printing or packaging experience is required.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.
• Ability to build relationships at all levels and influence others.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; ability to create and customize presentations.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% to customers, offices and plants.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plan to grow MCC’s market share.
• Identify opportunities and guide quoting, proofing, and sampling for projects.
• Build relationships with end users and influencers through pull strategy.
• Collaborate with Sales to assess customer needs and propose solutions.
• Work with R&D/Technology to ensure designs meet customer needs.
• Maintain supplier relationships and assist with demand/supply planning.
• Coordinate with estimating for pricing feedback to stay competitive.
• Ensure compliance with laws and MCC governance.
• Support safe operations and asset protection.
