Job summary

MCC in the Atlanta area is seeking a Business Development Manager who will drive growth by identifying opportunities, guiding quoting, proofing and sampling, and communicating MCC’s value in packaging solutions.

The role requires a degree, 5–10 years in business development or sales, packaging experience, strong communication, and the ability to travel. You will collaborate with sales, R&D, and supply chain to meet customer needs and support strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 5–10 years in business development/sales.
• Printing or packaging industry experience required.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to influence at all levels.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; ability to create presentations.
• Engineering training preferred for technical capability.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
• CRM experience; Salesforce a plus.
• Experience with national and global organizations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a pull strategy by building relationships with end users.
• Implement strategic plan with Director, Sales to grow MCC’s market share.
• Identify opportunities and guide quoting, proofing and sampling.
• Collaborate with Sales to assess customer needs and propose solutions.
• Lead efforts to align with suppliers and coordinate with operations.
• Report on sales funnel to support demand and supply planning.
• Assist pricing discussions with MCC estimating team.
• Support compliance and safety within all activities.
