Job summary

Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP is seeking a payroll professional to manage client payroll processing, accuracy, and compliance across multiple clients. You will ensure timely processing, accurate deductions, and reporting while maintaining client confidentiality and strong relationships.

Responsibilities include leading implementation support, interviewing clients for payroll needs, training on processes, and staying current with payroll regulations.

Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant payroll experience
• Bachelor's degree preferred; experience considered in lieu of degree
• CPP preferred

Responsibilities

• Ensure client payroll information is accurate within their payroll system and resolve discrepancies
• Review and/or process payrolls timely to meet client deadlines; update records; calculate bonuses or severance; reconcile deposits and withholdings
• Prepare reports of employee earnings, taxes, deductions, and employer contributions for social security and unemployment
• Establish strong client relationships by consulting on payroll matters and maintaining confidentiality of data
• Be an additional resource to the implementation team; interview clients to understand payroll needs; manage new client implementations
• Train clients on payroll processes as necessary
• Support new hires and staff with knowledge on ADP platforms; maintain knowledge of local, state, and federal practices
