Job summary

Baker Tilly is seeking a Payroll Specialist to deliver direct support and consulting to our payroll clients. You will understand payroll practices in depth and maintain knowledge of laws to provide accurate information and timely service under supervision, with room to independently manage client relationships.

Responsibilities include ensuring payroll data accuracy, processing payrolls to meet deadlines, and generating reports on earnings, taxes, and employer contributions.

Qualifications

• Two-year degree preferred or 2 years experience in lieu of degree.
• Experience with ADP platforms desirable.
• Proficient in Outlook and MS Office.
• Highly detail oriented and organized.

Responsibilities

• Ensure client payroll data is accurate and reconciled.
• Process payrolls timely to meet deadlines and update records.
• Prepare reports of earnings, taxes, and employer contributions.
• Maintain confidentiality and deliver exceptional client service.
