Job summary

Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP is seeking a Payroll Administrator to provide direct support and consulting to our payroll clients. The role requires in-depth knowledge of payroll practices and ADP platforms, managing client relationships under supervision and escalating issues when needed.

Responsibilities include processing payrolls, preparing earnings reports, ensuring data accuracy, and delivering exceptional service across multiple clients in a deadline-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree preferred or 2 years experience in lieu of degree.
• Experience with ADP software platforms desirable.
• Working knowledge of Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Highly detail oriented and focused on accuracy.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Strong adaptability and multi-tasking skills.
• Ability to effectively work in a deadline driven environment serving multiple clients.
• Ability to provide exceptional client service.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; appropriately and professionally communicates with all levels.
• Ability to learn new technology and processes quickly.
• Ability to learn from experiences and integrate new knowledge and skills into daily work and share with colleagues as appropriate

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support and consulting to payroll clients.
• Under supervision, manage client relationships and escalate issues when needed.
• Ensure payroll data accuracy within client systems and resolve discrepancies.
• Process payrolls timely, handle bonuses or severance, tax calculations and reconciliations.
• Prepare reports of employee earnings, taxes, deductions, and employer's contributions.
• Establish strong client relationships and maintain confidentiality.
• Support implementation teams and train clients on payroll processes as necessary.
• Share knowledge with less experienced staff and contribute to team development.
