Job summary

Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP is seeking a Payroll Specialist to ensure accurate client payroll processing and timely deliveries. You will review payrolls, manage records, and support implementation projects while maintaining confidentiality and delivering high-quality service to multiple clients.

The role requires 3 years of payroll experience, proficiency with ADP RUN, and strong communication skills. Bachelor’s degree preferred; hybrid/onsite flexibility in a dynamic advisory environment.

Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant payroll experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred, experience can be considered in lieu of degree.
• CPP preferred.
• Experience with ADP RUN software and implementation experience.
• Working knowledge of Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Highly detail oriented and focused on accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Ensure client payroll information is accurate within their payroll system and resolve discrepancies.
• Review and process payrolls to meet client deadlines; update records, calculate bonuses or severance, review tax calculations, reconcile deposits and withholdings.
• Establish strong and trusted client relationships by consulting on payroll matters.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee data and communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
• Manage new client implementation projects and train clients on payroll processes.
