Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) seeks an experienced outside sales professional in California to secure and grow customer accounts. You will drive revenue by meeting sales goals, maintaining distribution, pricing, and agreements while building a strong pipeline and fostering customer relationships.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of outside sales experience, plus a valid driver’s license for potential vehicle reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years outside sales proven track record.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record for the last 3 years to qualify for company vehicle or reimbursement.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure, be self-motivated, manage time, and succeed individually and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Achieves sales goals and executes sales plans in the assigned territory or accounts.
• Secure and maintain distribution, provide pricing, negotiate, and maintain sales agreements.
• Create, monitor, and revise lead generation plans to build a strong pipeline.
• Maintain customer relationships to expand existing business.
