Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) seeks an experienced outside sales professional to grow accounts within its Alabama market. You will secure and maintain distribution, negotiate agreements, and expand existing business while collaborating with design and operations teams.

The role requires a Bachelor's Degree and 3–5 years of proven success in outside sales, with a valid driver's license and the ability to work under pressure. Competitive compensation and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and/or 3–5 years of outside sales experience.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record for the last 3 years.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure, self-motivated, manage time well.

Responsibilities

• Achieves sales goals and executes sales plans within an assigned territory and/or account.
• Secures and maintains distribution of products and/or services, providing pricing and negotiating agreements.
• Creates, monitors, and revises lead generation plans to ensure a substantive sales opportunity pipeline.
• Expands existing business by fostering and maintaining customer relationships.
• Coordinates with design department on the customer’s behalf to improve existing design and develops new designs.
• Reviews opportunities and problems with sales manager and recommends improvements.
