Job summary

ArchKey Solutions LLC is seeking an Organizational Design Specialist to partner with HR and business leaders in Minneapolis, MN. The role focuses on job architecture, organizational structures, and standard JD templates to drive workforce planning and compensation alignment.

You will apply ArchKey's leveling framework, maintain job records, and support design projects across the organization. Occasional travel may be required; a Bachelor's in HR or related field is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or related field required; an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in organizational design, job architecture, compensation, or related HR generalist role, preferably in construction/engineering/field services.
• Working knowledge of job evaluation and leveling methodologies; experience with Payfactors or similar platform preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to translate org structure and job content into clear, compliant job descriptions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to facilitate discussions with leaders at all levels.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with accuracy; proficiency in Microsoft Office; HRIS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partners with business leaders and HR to analyze, design, and document organizational structures supporting current and future needs.
• Develops, reviews, and maintains job descriptions per standardized template for consistency across the organization.
• Applies job leveling framework to evaluate roles and align responsibilities with FLSA classification and compensation.
• Collaborates with Compensation to price roles and benchmark against market; maintain job family ladder integrity.
• Facilitates job description review sessions with leaders and incumbents to validate functions and gaps.
• Maintains job architecture records (e.g., Payfactors) and ensures data is current and audit-ready.
• Advises leaders on essential vs. task-based functions to support ADA compliance and role evolution.
• Identifies opportunities to streamline job titles and reduce duplication across the org.
• Supports organizational design projects related to restructures, acquisitions, and workforce planning.
• Promotes DEI and ethical business practices in all work and interactions.
